*** BET HIP HOP AWARDS RUNDOWN***

 Snoop intro was good set the energy of the show

Young Dro & TIP performance was great, Dro’s hit song car & got no roof was a good choice, TIP came out & just added to the Awesome performance. 

Def squad killed it Redman electrified the beat with his cunning punch lines & animated charisma Keith Murray & Erick sermon definitely delivered & represented 

Def loaf & Kid Ink performance was ok it started a little slow & suspenseful waiting on some surprise of greatness but nothing,  so we settle for just ok the song “Be honest” is a great song though. 

Puffy ,lil Kim & Styles P was a good look. Puffy  song “don't bother me I'm working” was very catchy overall very well put together performance.

I'm digging the Rich Homie Quan performance the way he switched the song melody up was hot,  reminiscent of James Brown 

Scarface winning the I am hip hop award was well deserved

 Beat box Cypher was beyond great Rahzel, Dougie Fresh & Nicole Paris

Other good performances were Travis Scott , I  Heart Memphis with hit “The quan” one of the hottest records out right now, really brought his a game to the hip hop awards, performing his high intensity song and doing it justice, his dancing reminds me of Chris brown (just a little) he may want to work on his breathing look like he was a bit winded. Dj Holiday picking OT Genesis out of the crowd was kool & almost seemed believable (just saying). 

I really hope you all enjoyed the show, I am aware that some people are boycotting BET and the awards because they feel that they should have broadcast the "Justice or Else" march this past Saturday, but really BET made a deal to have their award show a day earlier as to not interfere with the March, ( BET has had this programming the same time for the past 10 years or so) . People the revolution will not be televised stop waiting on the mass media to show you  the way or educate you in any way. Peace..

Taraji P Henson killed it on the red carpet of the 2015 Emmy Awards last night in her Alexander Wang Gown. Her hit show "Empire" new season starts this week. 

Sophia Vergara in St John, I have to say I like this dress, very chic and simple.

Lady Gaga stunned the crowd at the 2015 Emmys this time not for her outrageous fashion but quite the opposite, her simple style and fab gown definitely turned a lot of heads.

*** JERRY SPRINGER REALITY SHOWS : LOVE AND HIP HOP ATLANTA***

One day I had the TV on the love and hip hop reunion and walked away (do do something) the sound was up so I was still able to hear the television, for some reason at that moment I got a flash back of the Jerry Springer show. Remember back in the 90’s  when Jerry Springer talk show was popular and all the rachetness that was so entertaining, every one rushing home by 5 to see the new story of some broken promises, lies or deception. Oddly it was not the story line that gave me a familiar feeling causing me to connect the two shows together. So after a while it was discovered allegedly that the stories in Jerry Springer were fabricated a bit , coerced, rehearsed and some time just plain made up, this is what the familiar air was the fake sh#@ . For some reason the way the story lines were on this season of “Love and Hip Hop” Atlanta were just a bit to overly dramatic, always some bullsh@# drama , mostly stirred up and instigated by the antagonist Karlie Red,  then the reunion just solidified the sh#@ show that it became. My point is in my opinion the same thing that happened to the Jerry Springer era is about to happen to this franchise, people require a little more substance to actually hold their devotion and attention.

                                                                                     

Final Thought: If this is the direction that they want to take the show they should get better writers or put the cast through some type of formal acting classes and keep it real we all know this is not a reality show anymore. I’m Just saying….

***THE 9TH ANNUAL ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK STARTS NOW***

The Real House Wives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is always around when fashion is involved, she was at the kick off of the Atlanta International Fashion Week with her new line of sunglasses. 

This years launch was at the beautiful Wimbish house located in the heart of Atlanta's Midtowns district on Peachtree Street. 

The first Designer Shay is from Atlanta Georgia with her line called Scripted, her line is very well put together and fabulous. 

The second designer Nessa Apostol with her line Napostol Couture. This former ballroom dancer has definitely found a way to elevate her knowledge of gowns into the fashion industry with these pieces, just beautiful.  

*** MEEK VS DRAKE *** BEEF IN DA GAME

So we all know about this rap beef between Meek Mill and Drake, although its not clear what started the actual beef. According to what I have been reading, Meek Mill feel a type of way over Drake not tweeting or promoting Meek's new album which Drake has a feature on. So Meek is bothered and went on a two day twitter rant about Drake not writing his own rhymes, Safaree being gay and a whole lot of sh*t I guess he had to get it off his chest. On one hand I'm like let Meek have is moment, maybe his album sales a'int doing what they expected, stress you know, but question, why you gotta attack Safaree he let you be when you stole his girl, why talk shit about him, he is living his Nicki free life. Then I noticed Lil Boosie weighing in on Drake side calling Meek a snitch and all that sh*t, Boosie what this have to do with you, why are you the Drake protector, you must be waiting for him to do a feature with you. First I don't think Meek Mill is a snitch and he prolly realer than you Boosie, see it takes courage to speak out against the masses and stand on your beliefs. The rap game was started on the premise of talent, talent to create these stories of your own words to conveyed a message, so if you have people writing for you then where is the talent? Would it be okay for Lebron James to get somebody to make the shots for him? No so why is faking talent and mediocrity acceptable in the rap game? There are hundreds of thousands of rappers I know that write and grind everyday, it is not fair for Drake to be on top if he is not writing is own material, so Lil Boosie (I luv your music) but stand up for talent and fairness, not d**k ride. my thoughts. Peace.

*** BET AWARDS 2015 RUNDOWN, RIHANNA, DIDDY, LIL KIM AND MORE***

Alicia keys & weekend were the sh** good vibes great song great delivery but why was the Weekend hair is distracting to his performance, I'm just saying.

Chris brown, Omarion performance was good, but where was Jhene Aiko, why didn't she do her part, that's one of the hottest parts of the song. 

Question how did Sam smith win an award he was ok but the other nominees where way better

Bad boy 20 year anniversary with puffy, Mase was good Mase look a little slow on stage, 112 was ok they look a bit out of shape, Faith killed it she looked like she didn't skip a beat. The big surprise of this performance was the LOX came out but minus Styles P I wonder why??? One of the funniest moments in the show was when Puffy fell in a hole in the stage where Kim was coming up, but he handled it professionally, Kim performance was good

Question Why did empire artist performing they acting like they a real record label, smh why do we have to be the victims, all I'm saying is that they did better on the show real life not so much boring... 

Tamar Braxton  and her eye lashes were killing me plus her performance was bad, she is to animated it just made me uncomfortable to watch is. 

K Michele need to work on her stage performances she is lacking energy, what y'all think?  

Fetti wap performance was mediocre for the last performance of the night, he could have done alot more to close out the award show.
