The Ruler Remy Ma is exactly what she says she is, hands down she is the dopest female MC in the game that has been under rated. But if you think back every song she has been on has been golden as in hit number one songs. She also has a new mixtape coming out called "I'm Around" which is just a taste before her album gets completed. Of course we know her story surrounding her stint in prison which in some ways solidifies her as a real female that takes nothing from anyone and means what she says. Last nights cypher was just a tip of the ice berg of what her and her Underground King husband Papoose can do, he him self is a legend when it comes to the hip hop industry. their marriage is a great union not just the love part ( I don't know their biz) but from a hip hop stand point there is no other couple like them, they both are top notch MC's . check out the cypher below.
The 2014 Bet HipHop Awards was great I would say that is was successful, no known incidences that popped off like other years. Okay so of course Uncle snoop did his thing as the host and his skits with Nia Long was so hilarious one of the best parts of the show to lighten up the audience. The show started with Rae Sremmurd No Flex Zone a good performance, its good to see artist on stage enjoying their music and dancing to it. So lets run down some the winners real quick and get back into the show it self:

Best Hip Hop Video- Drake
Best Performer- Kanye West
Best Lyracist - Kendrick Lamar
Best Dj and producer of the year- DJ Mustard
THE GOOD
The second Cyper of the Night was Tyalor Gang with Wiz Kahlifa, Juicy J , Ty Dollar Sign was ok not the best of the night, but what really caught my attention was how damn tight Wiz pants was I mean really.
The third Cyper with was good to, the person that stood out the most to me was Snow Tha Product she is bannanas wit her flow and buss shots at Joseline Hernandez from LHHATL. Treach from Naughty By Nature did his thing let the young heads know that he cam still get it. But really the highlight of this cypher was the homie David Banner who had his professor outfit on and definitely dropped some knowledge. ( check out this cypher below).
The fourth Cypher did not disapoint with Dee1, Logic, Troy Ave who did his thing, Lil Mamma represented for Harlem and did her thing but the highlight was the female MC Detriot Che she is someone to look out for she definitely killed the cypher.
Now other than the Remy and Papoose cypher the best cypher of the night was the live Cypher on stage with Murda Mook they ate everybody food check it out....
THE BAD
I would say the bad was the Migos Performance I think they could have done more with their performance like have dancers or some ish, it was lame.
Rich gang performance was a bit mediocre as well the only good thing was we got to witness some secret hand shake between Babe and Thugger that was either and initiation into a gang or just a very elaborate hand shake, the fact that they both took time out to learn that was interesting.
THE UGLY
Usually I would not classify this performance as ugly it was actually great I enjoyed it. Brandy, Queen Latifah, Mc Lyte and Yo Yo performed " I want to be down" and although most of the older crowd enjoyed it, the youngsters did not show to much luv and I think it was a bit long and dragged out with not much energy from the performers them selves. This is why I would consider it the ulgly.
Tonight is a big night for the the BET Networks. For the first time in BET Hip Hop Awards history live from the red carpet with Shad Moss AKA Bow Wow and Tamika Tiny Harris, kicking off at 7pm . this is a special edition of 106 & Park. We would like to say congrats to Shad on his recent engagement to L&HHNY star Erica Mena.
Yes Uncle Snoop is back to host the BET Hip op Awards 2014 that starts at 8pm tonight, the show will be action packed with alot of performances and Celebrity appearances. A special tribute to Mike Brown and of course the awards cannot be complete with out the Cypher.
After the Awards Show the hilarious Real House Husbands of Hollywood returns with back to back episodes starting at 10pm.
LaLa came out to the NYC priemere of "Time is Illmatic" a documentary about Nas and his musical and life journey. I cant wail to see it, Nas is such a legend and Illmatic is one of the best albums of all time. (see trailer at the below)
Jungle who is also in the film came out to support his brother Nas.

Busta Rhymes was in attendance at the NYC premiere of "Time is Illmatic" . Okay when is someone gonna tell Busta to lay off the burgers and work out, ever since he cut those dreads his a** been gaining hella weight, I'm just saying.
