Jeezy and TI had a big weekend last week lots of parties and event around Atlanta as part of the BET hip hop weekend, they are seen here at a private lunch in Atlanta called Fiesta De Rie ( feast of Kings) must be nice!! Tiny also attended the dinner, these two have been sticking to each other like glue since they got back together after  brief separation.

Ashanti seen in NYC on the way to see the Lion King play in Manhattan, she have been spending alot of time in NYC lately maybe she is staying close to family and friends since her long time boyfriend Nelly has a new reality show wit his new woman Ms Jackson ( Floyd Mayweathers ex) 

Rihanna seen out and about in NYC , she has been low key lately. 

New series alert "Blackish "stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson stopped by 106& Park this week to promote the show. We will watch and review later..

As we approach the hotter months in the summer many of us are looking for a hair style that has less effort and keeps us kool. If you are a natural beauty like myself then braids are the ultimate hair style to beat the heat. The combination of heat, humidity and sweat can leave your natural do in a fro or just un manageable, so turning to braids is a natural transition. However as I have seen many people that are unaware how to care for braids and don’t know when to take them down, which has lead me to write this post. My braided hair journey begun back in May the weekend before Memorial Day to be exact; I went on craigslist yes craigslist!!! in search of a braider at a reasonable price (don’t be skeptical a lot of businesses use craigslist and usually at a discount). I found a great braider who will come out to you and braid your hair for a great price to. Anyway the results were good I did the large box braids which was a bit heavy, but overall they worked. Now that we have braids how to care for them? Well I recommend treating your braids as you would your natural hair or hair extensions, make sure that your scalp is moisturized and the braids are sprayed with any kind of oil sheen and be sure to tie your braids down at night. So I kept the braids in for about two months, really you can determine when they should come out but two months is a good expiration, ( too often we see people with braids that look like they want jump out, don’t that happen to you) keep it cute. ***NO RECKLESS INTERNET POSTING *** NO R.I.P

No Reckless internet Posting (No R.I.P) a new anti bullying movement created from a tragic event and designed to inspire and evoke change. What is No R.I.P? it is a pledge to not provoke others via social networks and to be Conscious of your words. Although in reality words cannot of physical hurt someone, however in this same reality they can. Being reckless is not being conscious of the damaging effect the words you put out in the universe about someone can have, these words can be a devastating and sometimes cause a fatal outcome.

The No Reckless Internet Posting campaign is to bring awareness and make those who maliciously say things about others in social media or any other mass media forms to stop, consider  and examine how their words can effect others and if their information is factual or  gossip. Some media personnel such as Funky Dineva who recently appeared on the ER a show on Be100 radio, may look at the No RIP campaign as a policing of the blog world, which currently does not have any set guidelines as to what they can post, simply because it is implied that the blog post is the opinion on the blogger.  As a fellow blogger I can understand his point, however being that in real life we probably would not voice opinions that are harsh and judging to someone’s face then why do that in a blog post. During his  interview on the show In The ER on be100 radio, Funky Dineva expressed that the “No R.I.P had to be defined”  and that he believed that the movement was designed to come for his job as a blogger, I imagine that a lot of other bloggers out their felt the same way hence why the interview took place and why this blog is being written.

According to the definition that Debra Antney and Simone Slaughter gave it was to make people accountable and responsible for the things that they report on others to make them aware and  put themselves in their shoes or the ones of their family members. In other words be more human and caring and less inhuman and money hungry. As the interview goes on Funky Dineva continues to express his thoughts on the No R.I.P movement saying “people sometimes do things for convenience” in my opinion he was implying that Debra Antney was doing the movement for a fictitious reason. Now this point I can’t understand at all, seriously at what point do people really step out of reality, because the reality is that Debra Antney lost her son partially due to  the things that were posted on the internet.  This is common knowledge to many especially a blogger so to imply that NO R.I.P is convenience is totally delusional.  In my opinion this Movement was due to happen, in today’s  society we have teens harassing stalking others to the point of suicide, murder and mass murders occurring frequently, this is real life this movement was destined to happen and thanks to Debra Antney is has taken flight. The no bullying movement was very successful but as we know with new technologies developing every minute bullying was on the way to being digital. Weigh in let me know what you think about this movement.

CEE LO GREEN CHARGED WITH GIVING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Yesterday Cee Lo was charged with one count of furnishing a controlled substance in a Los Angles court room. Apparently the story is that the victim a female has accused him of slipping ecstasy into her food as the two dined at a restaurant in LA, the prosecutor did not charge Cee lo with rape because it would be difficult to prove. Bottom Line they had to charge him with something since the chic made a report, he faces up to four years in jail in convicted. Bad Deal for Cee lo.

The best performance of the night was 2chainz the Manie Fresh beat was bananas, the back up dancers was doing their thing especially the thick one, I hope to see more thick women in the industry modeling, dancing etc. Juvenile came out during the performance and took it over the top, great job 2Chainz. 

Uncle Snoop was the host and i have to say he did a great job, you know everybody is kool with Snoop so there were no reported problems at the wards this year. 

Okay first off I luv Meek Mill but I must keep it gangsta this jacket is baby size, why is everybody wearing these small a** clothes, Just saying is jacket reminds me of those little jacket chics wear. His stylist need to get checked for this ish. 

Asap crew was great s,special mentions to ASAP Ant from Baltimore MD he did his thing this guy has a great flow technique watch out for him. Lil Kim came on a ripped it to, Special mention to Travis Scott I liked his flow, it was smooth and lethal. Another Cypher that was hot was of course Joel Ortiz the dude is just nice a lot of people aint seeing him, Crooked I from long Beach killed it, that guy is like a ak he spits fire repetitiously and of course Royce 59 and Joe button did the thing. The KDE crew of course Jay Rock did his thing I luv this guy, he always rips it. But the best Cypher goes to the Real house husbands of Hollywood, yea I said it all those guys murdered it except chocolate drop but I died laughing through the whole cypher. Great job to all the crews real hiphop keep it alive.

Condola Rashad, seen on the carpet for her Romeo an Juliet photo call. So why are their rumors about her and Orlando Bloom been romantically link, well lets see maybe because he is her co star on the Broadway show. IDK 

Forest Withaker and his wife Kiesha is seen in NYC, people are starting to talk about Kiesha's little frame and her weight, maybe she is stressed, nothing a couple of burgers can't handle I hope.

Awh Black love Tisha Campbell and Dwayne Martin were out to celebrate their friends Vivica Fox's Bday.
