I had a chance to catch up to this song bird this weekend in the Atlanta for her Album signing at DBS Sounds. Not everyone that came out had what it took, don't get me wrong in this setting not only do you have to have talent you have to have delivery with it and many fell short, I'm not gonna put anyone on blast though.

Yes a female MC was in the contest and she was good to, "Country Gravy" is her name and she came in second runner up. When she stepped to the mic she spit a verse that was so hot she got the crowd hyped up before she even begun her song, which honestly was not as good as the first verse but it was good enough to get her to the second spot. NO WATER
The third place winners were "No Water" now I have to say despite a really raunchy looking side show from some crack head looking stripper ( which they didn't need) the rocked the crowd as well, there energy was on point and the audience soaked it all in and vibed with there performance. When it rains it pours they say, Carmelo was recently suspended after a supposed incident between him and Celtics player Kevin Garnett. I guess Carmelo wanted to put them paws on him for the game and disrespecting his wife. Allegedly the Kevin Garnett made comments to " His wife tasting like Honey Nut cheerios". IDk that sounds like grounds for a beat down, but hey the NBA didn't feel the same. The two teams have a rematch game in Boston in a couple weeks. To add to this drama the rumor mill is that Carmelo and his wife were going through a separation. My two cents I like them as a couple and she is in NY by her husbands side so that speaks numbers. Now that TI is off papers he is hitting the ground running, he was at the premiere of "Gangster Squad" at the Graunams Chinese Theatre In Hollywood.
