NEW YORK MAYOR BLOOMBERG CANCELS MARATHON

So even a few million starving and homeless people weren't enough to stop Mayor Bloomberg from deciding to continue the annual New York  marathon as scheduled.  It wasn't until the Mayors office was given the devastating facts about the other parts of their fair city that he was politically and reasonably convinced to call off the affair.  Certainly he was more concerned with whether or not rescue workers were using 32oz bottle to refuel citizens.

HURRICANE SANDY SPARKS FEAR FOR THE FUTURE

Beginning of the End of Time? Hurricane Sandy sparks fear in social networking circles where there is talk of the end of times being near.  Something like this happening before a major election and so close to the December doomsday deadline is very unsettling to many. 

As the many finally soak in to what they just witnessed with Sandy somehow you gotta wonder if Hollywood hasn't been getting us ready and rendering our minds a little numb with all of these disaster misc-en scenes that seem to proliferate every big budget film these days.  Have we just been numb to the devastation over the years or are we witnessing the slow revelations to come.  Only time will tell. As for now the twitterverse, facebook and many other popular social networks are all a flutter with talks of the end nearing.

JESSICA SIMPSON, NICKI MINAJ

Jessica and her fiance took baby Maxwell get into the Halloween spirit today, so cute. I think this is the first time Jessica has been seen out since she had the baby, she looks fab, luv the mideval theme.

Nicki has a new lipglass with Mac cosmetics called "Viva Glam" that she was in London to promote, yeah I know get that paper right!  But really its a joint effort between her and Rick Martin and some of the proceeds go to help men and women living with or affected HIV/AIDS. Pretty kool, Nicki.
