So the BET Awards were last night. Most of the Stars showed up and showed out but of course there were a few awkward moments that went down. first lets talk about how Kai Cenat did not know who Wale was after dapping him up in the parking lot. Saying who is he? I guess Wale got offended and confronted him while he was talking to Snoop in the event. Kai you gotta do better I know your in your bag right now but be for real.

 Second strange incident was the drag by red carpet from Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist. We are not certain what occurred on the carpet but there are videos showing be walking very fast behind him and him flipping someone off and bypassing the photographers on the carpet (see link below). Many are insinuating that he was letting his pride stop her from shinning., but how do you go from this(see fist picture below) to what people are claiming, also after seeing the latest GQ video from the couple it's hard to believe he would be stopping anything, he literally gave he high points so she could be the only person to accumulate that amount of points. (see link below). I'm not sure what was going on at the Awards show but they did not play it off well.

*** MY COVID STORY** PLUS TIPS ON SYMPTOMS AND REMEDIES TO HELP!!

It’s started with my 9 year old saying mommy I have a headache about 2 days in a row ( please don’t ignore this signal). Little kids don’t usually have headaches, so I gave her some Tylenol,  then I noticed my husband & I had a headache to still not realizing what it could be cause we were drinking wine the night prior to the headache so we figured a hangover or bad wine sigh!  Two days later my daughter wakes up screaming my head hurt sooo bad the scream was gut wrenching I knew she was really suffering, more Tylenol & told her to rest the day went by quick as she just rested I thought a side affect of the Tylenol ( you know give the kid Tylenol to make them sleep, never been a fan of that) but that was my assumption at the time. She woke up feeling ok enough to play some roblox & Minecraft eat a bit so I was like ok. But honestly the headache thing was bothering me, later that night the crash happened, her  headache returned this time with a high temperature of 101.9 oh know she is sick I thought. Since she was a baby I was never the type of parent to just let her be sick even with this covid virus I knew if she got it I would to because I’m going to comfort my baby girl. So we tylenoled to temp down she was able to sleep, the next few days was just managing the temp so it won’t spike & pumping her with vitamins & nutrients. Hubby & I felt fine  after the initial headache  it had been about a week since then, no major symptoms occasional runny nose but I have bad sinuses so attributed it to that. My daughter in the other hand went through the gambit, headache, slight fever, fatigue, muscle pain ( she complained her legs hurt) stuffy nose, then a cough. 

Suddenly 5 days after the headache, 3 days after our daughter went through her thing but still coughing, my husband says "I feel bad", HuH!! we had just eaten a burrito so I say "stomach bad" he says "no I have chills I just don’t feel comfortable in my skin". Ok so this could be a life revealing moment or lol, anyways we checked his temp & "Bing Bong" his temp was creeping up to 101. oh no! What the hell is going on? He took some ibuprofen to keep it under control. The next day was the same for him chills hot cold temp irregular, so then we decided we all need to take an at home covid test. He took his first it read POSITIVE!  I’m like these test aren’t accurate then my daughter took hers POSITIVE! hmmm usually our test are negative, so I took one to POSITIVE. But I feel fine in fact I felt great! My husband over the next 3 days went through cold chills, sweats, temp fluctuations, fatigue, no muscle pains tho, stuffy nose. In my mind I’m like I guess I’m ok. 

Until day 7 after the initial headache, it was a normal day no symptoms but that night I went to sleep early then was woken up by cold chills, I felt my body fighting something I said to my husband "check my temp" he did it was 101.9 not usual for me, I took some Tylenol & went back to sleep. When I woke the next morning things were not the same as the day before I was fatigue, uncomfortable in my skin, my eyes hurt when I looked up, my head hurt when I bent down, I really had covid I thought. After two years of living indoors not a really even going anywhere masked up I got this shit. I knew exactly what had occurred my daughter brought us a gift from school ( this was my concern when they went back to in person learning). Ok so from watching my daughter & my husband go through this I knew what to expect or did I ?  

Everyday we made tea & kept it in a flask to drink it constantly, we took vitamin C & D & black seed oil in the mornings along with eating pineapples, oranges, strawberries etc I ate as much as I could ( well honestly I ate a lot) to keep my body from  going down, before bed I took a Tylenol so I could sleep & a shot of oregano oil with lots of water. We washed our sheets every  other day but microban  our  pillows daily, wiped down our light switches, countertops, toilet seats, door handles etc. sprayed out each room with Lysol turned on the fan to air them out opened the windows.  My symptoms progressed as they did in my daughter & husband, the worst part for me was the sinus congestion, because of my sinus issues this was exaggerated I could not get any relief I blew my nose constantly I expelled all mucus & phlegm because you just don’t want that stuff to get into your chest & lungs just spit it out!!  

Any way day 10 from initial headache I’m suffering bad with this sinus issues I decided to eat a tablespoon of honey locally grown ( what I usually do in the spring to relieve my allergies) & I said forget it I’m taking a shot of whiskey, this cleared my sinus. This is what worked for me after days of sinus pressure, blockage runnings etc.  By day 12 & 14 I was about 85% better and progressing still spitting out phlegm & taking my back seed out vitamins, oregano oil eating pineapples & fruits hot tea daily, no dairy light protein. Oh yeah I’m not vaccinated but my husband is & we went through the same things.  Basically BUILD YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM DAILY! MY COVID STORY!!

Female hip hop artist has been the most over looked in the industry yes mostly because it is male dominated like many other professions. However the role of the the female Artist should not be underestimated, she has the ability to not only out rap most guys but the reach of being able to touch certain subjects the most male rappers won't. This rawness is the necessary element in the hip hop culture.  A few weeks ago I got the chance to watch for the first time the battle rap between Remmy Ma & Lady Luck, from 2004. Watch below.

These two women are poised controlled & so precise in there delivery so much so it's difficult to determine the winner.  The way Remy switches her flow, with metaphors that causes you to run it back in ya head like damn that's crazy. Don't sleep on Lady Luck her bars are phenomenal. The irony is they both did time in prison after this & are out now still with the heat & reality shows, so unheard of in this industry.

Now in 2017 a new female hip hop clash maybe on the way with Remy Ma & Nicki Minaj. But really who didn't see this coming this is how the industry has always done it. 2017 the hip hop game has reached a new level taking this beef digitally worldwide having fan picking sides and separating the real from the fake in Hip hop . So here is the run downs Nicki Minaj released a few tracks supposedly throwing subliminal s at Remy ma. (listen below)

Then Remy totally assassinated her, making what most is now considering a historical hip hop diss record called "Shether" the whole entire world is still waiting for the self proclaimed Queen of rap Nicki Minaj to step up to the plate and respond the way the culture has always handled this kind of situation. A response is necessary if not Minaj has surrendered and automatically gives the crown to the person that bodied her Remy Ma. According to a recent interview Remy stated that the beef with Minaj is fueled not only by the diss track but by the behind the scenes thing that Minaj has tried to do to her like stop her from attending certain events and threatening industry executives not to work with the "Lean Back" star. 


Note worthy I guess because Remy made a reference to Foxy Brown Now Foxy has released a snippet of a diss track aimed at Remy. Foxy Brown before this has not released a record or been int the public eye for over a decade. Also let not that Foxy Brown and Remy Ma had had beef back in the day in which there is a rumor that Remy Ma punched Foxy in the face. we will keep you guys posted on whats happening with this epic female beef. until then weigh in leave a comment. 


What would be a switch up is if they would both do a record together with heavy hitting bars, flip the game.

*** BET AWARDS 2016 RUNDOWN *** JESSE WILLIAMS, SHEILA E, BEYONCE AND KENDRICK LAMAR, JENNIFER HUDSON, TONI BRAXTON AND BIRDMAN

The best speech of the year when it comes to celebrities was Jesse Williams last night on the 2016 BET Awards. It is so refreshing to see that some celebs are a wake to the injustice of black people in America, he used his opportunity to talk to all of us about what we have been enduring in this country. i think this speech will spark alot of movement and inspire our community to seek real freedom and not this new age slavery that has been going on see speech below...

Sheila E tribute to prince was the just moving to see her, a legend giving us her all in this performance was magical.

Need I say more Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce set the tone for the show, their performance was amazing and the song "Freedom" was fitting another message from the awake celebrities. 

Jennifer Hudson gave a touching performance last night, her tribute to the late Prince gave many goosebumps and left them with welled up eyes. She killed it and her emotions for the loss of one of musics greatest artist was definitely felt. 

Okay so I'm confused, rumor mill!!! Toni Braxton and Birdman was at the BET Awards cuddled up, I don't know it looks like they might be dating. This is a very odd pairing "Put some spect on it" dude and "Embrace my Heart" chic sound like oil and water but we will keep you all posted on this New couple alert. 

*** NEW MUSIC *** DEJ LOAF

So I finally decided to listen to the new Dej Loaf Mixtape " All Jokes Aside " and honestly all jokes aside I'm impressed. For a minute I figured that she was going to be another fly by night one hit wonder, her recent projects haven't really reached the heights of the debut song "Try Me". Buuut this new Mixtape in my opinion has a lot of potential to get her back on top, (Spoiler) one particular song with the legendary and incognito Silk the Shocker is a definite banger, hats off to Dej for getting him on the song and yes he murdered it as he should have.  Check it out and leave a comment, let me know if you all are feeling it or not. 

*** BEYONCE, LEMONADE, FASHION AND REVIEW***

 People have a lot to say on Beyonce's new Video Album "Lemonade", speculations as to JayZ infidelity the bey hive going crazy on Rachelle Roy page telling her to kill herself. The Bey hive need to chill everybody has marital problems but what not cool is to flood someones time line telling them to commit suicide this woman  is a mother no matter how you feel about her ( not sure if fans should be this emotional ) but anyway be responsible for your actions people. Now lets get into this Artistic Piece, firstly I would like to thank Beyonce for putting together this beautiful art and allowing us the general public to have access to something of this magnitude. I have to say being a wife and a mother I truly understood her message and what she was trying to convey, marriage is not an easy thing you loose and gain yourself all at the same time, so keep pushing, Jay looks like he is a great father and that is hard to come by but still don't compromise your standards, plus he cant do no better Bey your at the top of the food chain. LOL

This pose is everything Beyonce embodies the epitome of Nubian Queen with the hair style and the pose. I luv this one.

The flowing dresses in this video to me represent a kind of freedom, ladies we all know that a nice flowing dress in the summer is life. 

The warrior Bey, I have to recognize the African patterns that she is using through out the piece, accompanied by the natural sisters, really portray a positive image for young girls. 

Question how the hell Bey get Serena Williams to twerk in a video, very dope to have friends like. Lately the media has been trying to strip Serena of her beauty by calling her a man an so on so for Bey to specifically have her in here is great, let the world now that a healthy muscular black woman on her shit is beauty.

This Dress just speaks for its self a beautiful African print and design her tapping into the country music genre was great and i will say I hope she breaks into that category and dominates.

I really wish I had a better picture but this Lace one piece is just gorgeous, the fashion in this piece is top notch I really wished she had made pieces like this this "House of Dereon" 

At this point in the video we see a lot of delusion and craziness in Bey eyes but rightfully so strife with the person that is closest to you can draw out the insanity. Anyway the dress was beautiful but the real star of this show is her shoes. 

This is my Favorite piece n this entire video and trust me they are all on point but the head piece is just pure dopeness on many levels and of course Beyonce rocks it with perfection. 

I'm not gonna lie when Mike Brown Mom shed a tear I did to, you can see and feel the hurt in her eyes. I tell you is nothing on the planet like loosing a child it haunts you on the good days a dam near cripple you on the bad days. I am loving the new message that Bey is portraying the awareness that she is bringing to this epidemic. these types of crimes are not new but they are being more recorded and now we have technology they the cowards that kill us with no regard that take away our fathers, sons, sisters, and mothers will have to face the public directly, the law that try to protect them can no longer because even if they get off from the charges your life will never be the same. POLLEN SEASON

Pollen season in Georgia is like winter in New York, literally little yellow power float threw the air covering everything and anything. This annual dusting has really gotten out of control over the past few years, makes you think what the hell is this stiff. When the CDC reports that they will be making mosquito’s this year and release them to neutralize the regular mosquito’s that may carry the Nile virus, makes you think what else can they do. Follow me for a second, every year around this time since I have been in Georgia the pollen has been bad, but as of lately it has gotten severely worst, to the point that people are dying from asthma attacks in higher numbers than before. Food for thought. A little advice if you’re in Georgia or anywhere else that may be part of this experiment, local honey reduces the allergic reactions.

One of the most unlikely partnership occurred this week. Grammy nominated producer and reality TV star Stevie J has partnered up with a company that makes female menstrual under garment. Yes you read it right Pretty Panty the name of the company was founded in Atlanta in 2011, their mission is to provide a pretty, secure garment for ladies menstrual cycles. The unlikely pair may be a hit because the company’s line in now being distributed and sold at Wal-Mart. Yes ladies you will now have the opportunity of Stevie being in your panties or at least make them.
