Hip hop soul artist Heavy D real name Dwight Arrington Myers was pronounced dead today at a hospital in California. Apparently Heavy was found in the walkway of his Beverly Hills home and was rushed to an area hospital.

Heavy D was recently on the BET Hip Hops awards where he performed, I thought he looked great and performed as if he was still 25. We have definitely lost a great asset to black music.
